If you purchased a mobile device from a Walmart location in the last five years, there’s a good chance a Premium Wireless Sales Pro helped you on your shopping journey. Wireless Sales Pros are the go-to wireless expert within the Walmart store, helping shoppers with new phone sales, activations, upgrades, and accessory bundling. Currently, Premium employs more than 2,100 high-performing wireless sales team members comprised of hourly and salaried professionals.

Today, Premium is humbled to announce that Walmart has awarded us additional locations as a key sales and operations partner for the Walmart Wireless program. With this latest program expansion, Premium expands our footprint by 50% beginning in June and July 2022. This expansion extends Premium’s reach into 13 new states and creates 1,000 additional jobs.

Since 2017, Premium and Walmart have partnered on the Wireless program with a team led by Tom Maria, VP of Strategic Accounts. Before joining Premium, Tom served as Vice President of Store Operations for RadioShack. Chad Cooper, Senior Director of Operations, and Mark Hann, Senior Director of Client Service, joined Premium in 2018 after many successful years with Verizon and Samsung. This leadership team partners closely with Walmart to define and guide the program’s future strategies. Since our first stores launched in 2018, Premium’s program footprint has increased by 250%. 

At Premium, we focus on a high standard of customer service and performance results, utilizing District Managers to provide regular coaching and development within their territories. We also emphasize a high rate of promotion from within. Many Wireless Sales Pros have advanced to Sales Managers and Sales Managers to District Managers. Our leadership development training program helps streamline career advancement opportunities for our Wireless team members.
