A brief history.
Since 1985, Premium has driven sales and brand longevity using the industry’s best analytics, consumer insights and program design strategies.
1950sIn the late 1950s in St. Louis, selling cookies and crackers store-to-store wasn′t a glamorous job. But the people along the way made it worthwhile. For nearly three decades, Ron Travers climbed Nabisco’s corporate ladder to become a Regional Vice President of Sales.
1980sIn the early eighties, Nabisco was acquired, and Ron found himself at a crossroads. Thinking about the people he had met in his career and the relationships forged, he decided to build his own company with the goal of marketing great brands, interacting with food brokers and retailers, and coordinating in-store services with experienced people.
TodayOver the years, Premium evolved from a one-man operation into what it is today: thousands of employees across 50 states, Canada, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Premium is still family owned and operated, with Ron’s sons Kevin and Brian at the helm.
