Toys “R” Us knew that the weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas would be a challenging time to keep merchandise on shelves. They also understood that their associates would be focused on customers and could not devote the necessary time to maintain stock levels.
Premium representatives were trained to access the Toys “R” Us inventory control system and how to scan and identify the location of specific inventory. This permitted us to determine if inventory was out of stock, in transit, or on hand and simply not packed out. By using the system to generate a pick list, Premium reps ensured all possible merchandise was on shelves for customers, permitting Toys “R” Us employees to focus on providing great customer service.
In addition to building nearly 4,400 displays, Premium packed out 550,787 toys as part of this seasonal initiative, all in the course of just 11 days.
